Meet Our Pastor

Bishop Willard E. Saunders, Jr. is a former Vice Principal in the Baltimore City Schools. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree form Frostburg State College and MBA from Loyola College in Education Administration. He currently serves as the Treasurer of New Destiny Fellowship International and Fathers numerous churches in Uganda and Kenya, Africa He is married to Evangelist Lady Delicia Wilson Saunders and the sire of three sons, Willard III, Darren and Eric. He is the author of the book, "Created For So Much More."

Pastor Saunders has been the shepherd of the Christ Temple Family for seven years, through which time he has preached the unadulterated Word of God causing thousands to be saved and learning how to live more abundantly in Christ. In Bishop's words, "he's a rubber that meets the road kind of preacher". Through Bishop's practical teachings many parishioners have broken "generational curses, legacies of "project dwellers" are now homeowners. In the year 2001 we experienced the largest number ever of College Freshman, numbered at six, many of which are the first in their families.

Bishop is noted for his contagious smile and his insatiable love of music. Moreover his exhibition of his preaching and teaching through his own life through unshakable faith in God.
